WHAT {is the name of your Etsy shop}: Malam

WHAT {is the story behind your Etsy shop}: I was already selling my clothing line in France, and when I found this website, I thought I'd try it ;-)

WHAT {do you make}: Clothing and accessories, mainly one of a kind, a mix between fun, classical, and original :)

WHEN {did you get started}: I started a few years ago, at first because I wanted to get rid of all the fabric I had accumulated while studying at fashion design school. I wanted to make only dresses. Then thought I should make jackets to go with them. Then skirts to go underneath. Then... all the rest;)

HOW {does your background/culture influence your shop}: I've always been surrounded with old, historical items as a child, and I love flea markets. I still buy a lot of ancient materials and trimmings to make my clothing.

WHAT {inspires you}: Everything.. and I love historical costumes, so I try to incorporate a little of them in my designs.
